As the LKAB underground mine in Malmberget expands, the ventilation system has to expand with it. Gefa System recently delivered twelve new fan control units to LKAB, the new units will connect to the existing ventilation system. Gefa System has been providing LKAB with ventilation automation since 1999, when Arctic Vent Control was first taken into use. The new control units have been delivered to LKAB through Ahlsell.

Our automation system for underground mine ventilation is easy to expand.

You just add new fan control units to the existing system. That allows your ventilation on demand system to expand, change and grow with the mine. All of our control units are built to stand alone and require no additional infrastructure.
