Late 2018 Gefa System received an order on Arctic Vent Control for an underground mine in Kazakstan. The order, made by Eol Ventsystem AB in Kiruna, was of a ventilation control system for two 450kw primary fans. The order is a collaboration between the two. Gefa System delivers the automation system and control units and Eol Ventsystem AB delivers the fans.
Our ventilation system saves energy by making the airflow in the mine more efficient. It also helps improve air quality in underground mines. And even though the shipment to Kazakstan is our first to Central Asia, Arctic Vent Control has been in use in LKAB in Malmberget for more than twenty years.
